Chris was born and educated in the UK. He completed his schooling and formal studies within Civil/Structural Engineering, before joining one of the UK’s largest civil construction companies, Redpath Dorman Long. With RDL, he progressed through design engineering and project engineering to project management.

During the early 1990’s, Chris spent significant time working on the then new Canary Wharf/Earls Court Development in London, before accepting an opportunity to diversify his skills within the Petrochemical sector. He spent the following two years in design/project management on the delivery and construction of Nuclear Power Stations.

Chris commenced his career in Executive Recruitment when he immigrated to Australia in 1994. He joined Drake International and spent an initial 12-month period in Adelaide, before being approached to initiate a specialist Engineering Division for Drake in Sydney. Returning to Adelaide in 1996, Chris spent time in a senior consulting role with the Speakman Group and Management Recruiters Australia.

Chris has spent the majority of his executive recruitment career focussing on the Operations, Utilities and Manufacturing domain, and has worked closely with some of Australia’s most respected organisations across the Power, Water, Automotive, Consumer Products, Minerals Processing, Packaging and Industrial sectors. Chris’ extensive consulting expertise encompasses local, national and international search. Chris is a member of the Institute of Engineers and the Australian Institute of Management.
