Lauren is a “born and bread” Adelaide girl. After completing Year 11 at Immanuel College, Lauren studied at Stones Commercial College, entering the workforce in an administrative capacity for the Hansard Department at Parliament House and then as a Personal Assistant in the Property Management Department for Weeks & Macklin Real Estate. Also a keen sportsperson, Lauren excelled at club & state level in basketball and volleyball, representing South Australia across varied divisional championships. With a penchant for acting & modelling, she also acted as a promotional representative for the West End Brewery for some years.
Lauren then moved into a Customer Relationship Management position for the Metro Holden Group, responsible for two large dealerships, relishing this key and diverse, customer oriented role. Later moving into Sales Management, she accepted an opportunity to join the Gilbert Motors Group, overseeing the multiple site Dealerships of Holden, Daewoo, Musso, Toyota, Mitsubishi & John Deere, ultimately playing a key role in the group maintaining status in “The Premier Club of Excellence”.
Looking to widen and progress her career into new business sectors, Lauren joined the iconic Australian brand “King Gee”, operating under the Pacific Brands Portfolio of Companies. As State Manager for SA/NT, her client base encompassed Blue Chips including BHP, Bridgestone, Cobar Mine, Ranger Mine, Hagemeyer, Raytheon, and Power & Water amongst others.
Most recently, Lauren’s employment was that of Catering & Events and Business Development Manager with The Stamford Group of Hotels, enabling her to hone her customer and client relationship management skills within the challenging hospitality sector with this highly recognised, luxury hotel group. Attracted to the Executive Recruitment sector, and keen to apply her expertise and knowledge within a boutique, personalised, executive search and recruitment practice, Lauren joined James Gall & Associates in 2010. She will focus primarily within the areas of Sales & Marketing, bringing a strong “customer first” philosophy to clients and candidates alike. |
