Rosie was born and educated in country South Australia. After completing Year 12 at Victor Harbor High School, Rosie studied her Real Estate Certificate for 3 years becoming the youngest Registered Manager in South Australia. Having spent her early years working for well known local Real Estate Company Dodd & Page Pty Ltd, the “bright lights and opportunities” of the city became too good to resist.

Moving to Adelaide in 1990 Rosie accepted a role as Office Manager with Alexandrou Estates, Professionals Blackwood and moved into a senior sales position shortly afterwards. The ensuing 8 years were spent within the real estate industry, a highlight playing an instrumental role in the setup of a new office for the L.J. Hooker group – this entailed mapping out policies and procedures for staff to follow, transferring the trust account ledgers from a manual process to a computerised process and providing support to the newly formed sales team.

A change was in the wind in 1997 when Rosie entered the competitive Retail Industry as an Area Manager for Bras’n’Things, looking after 5 stores in the Adelaide metropolitan area together with a regional store in Mildura. Rosie was responsible for the overall management of 60 staff along with merchandising, customer service delivery and training, and full profit and loss control. After a successful period, Rosie joined the JeansWest group and was involved at a senior level in establishing all stores in the Adelaide metropolitan area.

Looking for her next challenge, Rosie was drawn to the search and recruitment industry during the late nineties. Prior to joining James Gall & Associates, Rosie was the Divisional Manager for national recruiting group Chandler MacLeod and was responsible for the management of their Recruitment Solutions Division in Adelaide. She has returned to our firm having completed an assignment for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in South Australia as Fundraising Manager. Rosie’s main areas of expertise across executive search and recruitment include the areas of Sales & Marketing, Accounting & Finance, and HR, servicing clients within the Manufacturing, Utilities and Industrial sectors.
